Can you believe it’s already May, 14th?! When I was younger I always thought it was odd how people said that time was running faster every year, but now I realize that it is so true. It’s almost June and I still feel like Christmas was just a few weeks ago. Anyway, now that summer really is close, here’s the soundtrack for those long evening barbecues everybody’s waiting for.

This is what I’m happily looking forward to wearing everyday for the next few months: A pair of jeans shorts, a simple t-shirt, some pastell accessories (or some bracelets), that’s all I need. Hopefully the weather agrees with me that this is a pretty good plan and let’s me wear it as often as possible (last year our summer wasn’t really warm enough to wear shorts, rather long trousers and a rainjacket). Today was great already, I spend all day out in the sun, eating fresh fruit and smelling of sunscreen (oh how I love summer!). What’s your summer uniform?
PS: To everyone who commented and said they still had to write exams: I feel for ya! I bet you’ll do great and soon you’ll be able to enjoy summer as well.

Didn’t I say that I would try to blog regularly again a few weeks ago? Well, that didn’t quite work out. After learning all day I wasn’t in the mood to sit at my desk in front of the computer a minute longer than necessary lately (besides I wouldn’t have had anything interesting to write about either ;).
Gladly, I wrote my last exam on Friday and I already feel about a hundred pounds lighter. School is over! I still can’t quite believe it.

I saw Foster The People live on Tuesday. They were so good! Watch this (I know it’s an official video, but the atmosphere was the same).
Are you following Katie Rodgers blog Paper Fashion already? I found it last week and it’s full of the prettiest illustrations in all my favourite colours. I think I’ll get this print for my new home, if I’ve got any money left.
And I finally gave in, said good-bye to my old (old!) phone and bought an iPhone. Surprise, I love it! Are there any apps you like you would recommend?

Are you all glad that it’s the weekend? I surely am. Yesterday I wrote my first big exam, the other two follow in the next few weeks, so my days still consist mainly of learning, learning, learning. Nevertheless, I think I am going to go out for dinner and grab a few drinks this evening to relax a little bit. Here are some other things I’ve been up to lately… (more…)
