Amanda Johnson, the gal behind Here’s looking at me kid, doesn’t only run a lovely blog full of vintage finds and fun outings with her friends (that oftentimes makes you feel like you just stepped out of a time machine), she also has a beautiful home. Gladly, she shares tips from time to time, for example how to make the bathroom look just a little bit more glamorous or how to decorate those corners that really don’t have any use at all.
She manages to create a very unique vintage look, that – although mostly every piece of furniture or decoration is from former decades – doesn’t look like the home of a person in her seventies. Instead it is light, breezy and full of fresh and warm colors (also very very cozy – don’t you just want to lie down on this couch with a cup of coffee and a good book?).
All in all, it seems to be the perfect apartment for those grey and rainy autumn days to come, when all you want to do is stay indoors to have fun with your friends or just enjoy a quiet evening at home.
