Are you all glad that it’s the weekend? I surely am. Yesterday I wrote my first big exam, the other two follow in the next few weeks, so my days still consist mainly of learning, learning, learning. Nevertheless, I think I am going to go out for dinner and grab a few drinks this evening to relax a little bit. Here are some other things I’ve been up to lately… (more…)
You catch a glimpse of gold through their skins.
I walk on air whenever I’m with them,
They’re where the happiness begins.
And I’m alright on my own, but with them I’m much better
They’re like diamonds and diamonds are forever.
Boy – Army
These pictures make me long for those long summer days spend outside with friends, doing nothing but lying in the sun, listening to music and talking. Barbecues in the evening. Swimming in the ocean. I can’t wait!
Well, tomorrow is the first of hopefully many of these evenings to come, a friend of mine is hosting a barbecue for her birthday and all my friends are going to be there. The perfect ending to any week.
What are you up to at the moment?
1. Foster The People – Warrant
2. Eels – Fresh Feeling
3. Youth Lagoon – Afternoon
4. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros – Home
5. Boy – Drive Darling
6. Feist – Bittersweet Melodies
7. Ben Howard – Keep Your Head Up
8. Benjamin Francis Leftwich – Shine
9. James Vincent McMorrow – If I Had A Boat
First of all, Happy Easter everybody! I hope you spend the time with the people you love, ate tons of chocolate and generally had a good time.
You might know from previous posts that I love attending concerts and this week I got tickets to go see Foster The People in May and Bon Iver in July (on my birthday actually!). My love for Bon Iver isn’t really a secret and I’ve started listening to Foster The People more and more lately (this session at the Bing Lounge is really good). I’m excited!
Are there any concerts you are looking forward to?
PS: I actually wanted to create this mixtape using 8tracks, but it took ages to get the songs to upload. Have you ever used it before? Did it work?

How great is this studio by Georgia-based photographer Jeremy Harwell? I found it on the Decor8-Blog the other day and instantly fell in love. The coral couch with the black and white accessories, all the art prints…This is what my living room should look like one day. To find more pictures and learn some more about Jeremy and his work you can go here.
I love this song, it’s perfect. I might have posted it before somewhere (I hope not). William Fitzsimmons is definitely one of the most talented musicians out there.
I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!
