Happy wednesday everybody! Since I’m no longer in school and haven’t had a ‘normal’ routine for nearly two months now, I’ve lost my sense of time a little bit, but I hope your week is running by smoothly and not too stressful as well. Here are some things I’ve been up to lately:
enjoying: spending every free minute outside. It even shows a little bit! I’m a naturally pale skin type, who doesn’t even get tan after a holiday in the south, but you could say that I am slightly browned. Just a little bit.
reading: I’ve got a long list of books I want to read this summer and I’ve started with The Invention of Solitude by Paul Auster. I’ve really enjoyed it so far, it’s written soo well (as are all of Auster’s books basically) but also a little sad since it deals with the death of his father and the fact that he never really knew him. So not really easy beach literature. But well, good!
listening: To lots and lots of different artists. I’m currently exploring the mixtapes on other great blogs and discovering so many new bands! Some favourites are M83, Keaton Henson, Polarsets and Seabear. Other than that, this list is still pretty accurate. And Kings of Leon is also the perfect summer band, in my opinion.
starting: With all my free time now, I really want to start playing the guitar again (I guess I have said that about a dozen times already, but this time I mean it!). What are some activities you want to start over the summer?
waiting: For nothing really. In my opinion, time could just stand still right now. The weather is great, life is great, I’m happy.
watching: Since I’m outside all of the time, I haven’t really had the time to watch anything new. I’ve seen The Help, which was really good (even after I read the book!) and I’m a little sad that New Girl is over. Are there any other great shows you could recommend?
What have you been up to lately?

Lovely photo! I’d love a basket like that as a shopping bag or beach bag!
