go green!

sleeping forest

These days, everybody’s trying to live green¬†and enviromentally conscious. We try to buy locally grown food and not support company’s that work with methods that have a bad impact on the environment. Last month I decided to go a step further and start only buying organic cosmetics. It’s not only better for the environment, but also for your skin (because there are no skin irritating chemicals in there). Since organic is so hip at the moment, it’s not even hard to get those kind of cosmetics, they are at every normal drugstore and don’t even cost that much more than normal products (very important for a broke student like me). Nevertheless, you have to be a little bit careful since the label ‘organic’ isn’t protected, almost anybody can call their products green even though there are still chemicals in there. Body Shop and Lush are an example for that. Only if there’s either the Natrue or the Ecocert label on it, you are on the safe side.

You see, I did my homework! Who’s joining me now in this challenge?
